How do germs and diseases spread? In most cases it is human contact or contact with doorways that have been ‘infected’ that cause an acceleration in the spread of diseases.

Our Bio – Gard curtains significantly reduce the spread of germs and therefore disease in critical areas such as food preparation areas or a medical environment. The curtain plastic is enriched with SteriTouch which is an anti-microbial additive, which kills 99.99% of mould, fungi and pathogenic bacteria.

Common bacteria such as MRSA, E.Coli, Salmonella, Listeria and Legionnaires are all stopped in their tracks by Bio-Gard, and the SteriTouch additive last the lifetime of the curtain.
Additionally, Bio-Gard’s effectiveness has been independently tested and conforms to world standard JIS Z 2801:2000 and ISO 2196:2007 as well as EU Directive 20002/72EC.
Further product features and benefits include the fact that Bio-gard curtains are classed as slow burning to self – extinguishing so they do not pose a threat in a fire, and they will fit any size of doorway or aperture as they are made-to-measure.
